Lao Liu × Pulucat · Independent Game Studio
New tools, one person,
and a game idea made real.
I'm Lao Liu, the creator of Pulucat and an independent game developer. I use new tools, including AI, to carry a one-person game idea all the way to a real, publishable work — while direction, taste, integration, and final responsibility stay human.

01 — The Work · Start here
A home that truly travels.
An ambient companion for studying, working, creating, or resting — through shifting scenery, music, and sound.

02 — The Workshop · AI Game Creation
AI amplifies creative ability;it does not replace the author.
I don't use AI to substitute for one role in an old pipeline. I redesign the subject, gameplay, and whole production process around its strengths. The human owns direction, taste, integration, and final quality; AI fills in the scale that used to require a whole team.
Expand what you can build
AI accelerates art, music, code, and repetitive work, so one person can still reach a shipping standard.
Own the creative result
Direction, choices, coherence, and the final outcome remain a human judgment — and a human byline.

03 — The Creator · Lao Liu
Someone who actually makes games — and documents how.
I’m Lao Liu. Across platforms, I publish under the Chinese account name 玩游戏做游戏的老刘; English materials use “Lao Liu.” I share why games are fun and how I use AI to turn a solo game idea into a finished work.
Games are my strongest creative proving ground, but not the only boundary. Creator Workspace, small tools written for real needs, automation, websites, and video workflows are all part of the one-person creative system I continue to build in practice.
I created Pulucat and independently develop Travelling Home: Ever After.
04 — About · About Pulucat
Pulucat,named for a purring cat.
The first cat in our home loved to purr. It's a small, quiet sound, but it makes a room feel warmer and a little less lonely. Pulucat hopes its games and stories can keep you quiet company the same way — warm, dependable, and led by the work itself.

05 — Playable Course · Courses
Courses that grow out of finished work.
I’m developing a course for AI creators, turning the methods, judgment, and decisions behind real projects into something others can follow. You can now play one of its game case studies.
